Rajendra Kumar was then in great demand (than that of even Dilip Kumar) and his films were celebrating Jubilees. Undoubtedly Amitabh Bachchan is a great actor, But I don't remember that even he has honour of 3 films of him were celebrating and running Silver Jubilee at one time. I sang for that Rajendra Kumar and my songs was one of his great hits.

About Vishal-Shekhar :

The duo rose to prominence when they composed the songs for the film Jhankaar Beats which included the song "Tu Aashiqui Hai". They won the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for Jhankaar Beats. In 2005 they composed the songs for three films: Salaam Namaste, Dus and Bluffmaster.

Vishal Dadlani is also the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram. He collaborated with Imogen Heap on the song "Minds Without Fear" for an episode of The Dewarists.

Shekhar Ravjiani is a trained classical singer (under Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan). He learned to play the accordion from his father, a music enthusiast, Hasmukh Ravjiani. Shekhar was a participant of Zee TV singing contest Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997.

He composed and sung Marathi songs "Saazni" in 2012 and "Saavli" (with Sunidhi Chauhan) in 2013.

On 16 August 2016, the duo collaborated with British rock band The Vamps for single "Beliya".

फिल्म बरसात का महत्वपूर्ण गीत और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण दृश्य इस क्लिप में है. इस फिल्म में दो जोड़ियां थीं.राजकपूर और नरगिस की, एवं प्रेमनाथ और निम्मी की. #शैलेन्द्र का लिखा यह एकमात्र गीत है इस फिल्म में क्यों कि पहले वह फिल्मो के लिए गीत लिखना ही नहीं चाहते थे. कुछ कारणवश उन्होंने अपना यह निर्णय बदला जो न सिर्फ इस फिल्म, राजकपूर और शंकर जयकिशन के लिए महत्वपूर्ण साबित हुआ, बल्कि हिंदी फिल्म गीत रसिकों के लिए वरदान साबित हुआ. राजकपूर द्वारा संगीतकार #शंकर को पहले यह फिल्म ऑफर की गयी थी, परन्तु शंकर ने एक शर्त रख दी कि वह तभी फिल्म में संगीत देंगे जब जयकिशन को उनके बराबर के पार्टनर के रूप में लेने दिया जाए. शंकर ने कहा कि वह दोनों मिल कर संगीत देंगे. और इस तरह बरसात फिल्म से #शंकरजयकिशन की जोड़ी जो बनी तो लगातार २१ वर्षों तक हिट फ़िल्मी गीतों की बरसात वह करते रहे.
